The New England Aquarium here in Boston has the best ad campaign right now. They are focusing on their eighty penguins at the aquarium with their eighty different personalities. You’ll have to forgive my camera phone on the dim subway, but here are a few of my favorites:
In case the image is too blurry, the text on the left reads: Lillico gets what Lillico WANTS. This is followed by a picture of cute, adorable, tiny little Lillico on the right saying: Or else.
Here’s another good one:
Again, in case you cannot read it, the text on the left reads: They say, if a couple is together long enough, they start to look alike. On the left is a seemingly identical couple of penguins holding hands fins and saying: I don’t see it… Me neither.
You know what? I’ve been living in Boston now for 7 years (almost exactly) and haven’t been to the aquarium since I was a tourist back in high school. I think it might be time to go.
